Terms & Conditions

For good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency of which is acknowledged, the parties hereby agree as follows:

  • NO PARTIES or SMOKING: To ensure a pleasant experience for all guests, no parties or smoking are allowed on the property. A $500 fine plus damages will be imposed for any event or party, including smoking, even if the property is returned to its original condition. The Guest agrees not to host any gathering of any kind involving individuals not listed on the reservation or previously approved by the Host. Please keep music and conversation at respectful levels at all times, especially during the hours between 10:00pm and 7:00am, to respect city noise ordinances.
  • Cancellation Policy: The cancellation policy of the booking channel will be honored. For Direct Bookings, the policy is as follows: 100% refund if canceled 30 days prior to check-in. 100% refund if canceled within 48 hours of booking confirmation AND at least 48 hours before check-in. 50% refund of reservation total if canceled 14 days prior to check-in. No refund for cancellations within 14 days of check-in.
  • Ownership: The Rental Unit is privately owned by an independent third-party (the “Owner”) for which The Host is acting as agent.
  • Rental Party: The rental party consists of the Guest and any other individuals accounted for on the reservation and affiliated with the Guest. The Guest is responsible for all members of the Rental Party and all Visitors to the Property.
  • Visitors: Only members of the Rental Party are permitted to stay overnight at the Property. Visitors are allowed only with the Host’s approval and are restricted to visiting between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. The number of Visitors cannot exceed 50% of the maximum occupancy as shown on the Property listing (unless maximum occupancy is 2, then 2 Visitors are always permitted). To avoid visiting-hour constraints, visitors may be added to the reservation as additional Guests (not to exceed maximum occupancy).
  • Pets: No Pets, Livestock, or Non-Service Animals shall be permitted at the Property unless previously approved by the Host or if listing is indicated as Pet-friendly. For approved Pets, Guest must maintain reasonable control over the Pet for the safety of others and keep the interior and exterior of the Property free of waste. Guest is responsible for any damage caused by the Pet. Violation of the Pet Policy will result in a $100 fine plus damages.
  • Rental Period: The Rental Period is from the date and time of check-in to the date and time of checkout.
  • Late Checkout Fee: Unless permission is granted by the Host, late checkout (any later than 11:00 am on the day of checkout) is not permitted. Late checkout will result in a $100 per hour fee beyond the checkout time.
  • Host Access: The Host or their representative may access the property with reasonable notice at any time during the stay for necessary purposes, except in emergencies where no prior notice is required.
  • Damage: Any damage or issues with the Property must be reported to the Host immediately. The Guest is responsible for any damage or loss caused during the Rental Period.
  • Furniture: Moving furniture and failing to return it to its original location will incur a $50 fine.
  • Rental Rate: Payment of fees is agreed upon booking confirmation.
  • Payment Schedule for Direct Bookings: 50% of the total cost is due at booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days before check-in. For reservations made within 14 days of check-in, the entire cost is due at booking.
  • Security Deposit: If agreed to, a security deposit may be required at check-in, refundable within 7 days of check-out, provided there are no deductions for damages, excessive cleaning, or other abnormal costs.
  • Use and Maintenance of the Property: The Guest agrees to use the Property only for its intended purpose and maintain it in a clean and orderly condition. The Guest must comply with all applicable local and national laws and must not conduct business from the Property.
  • Insurance: The Guest acknowledges that property insurance does not cover their personal belongings and is responsible for their own insurance if desired.
  • Indemnification and Assumption of Risk: The Guest assumes all risks related to their use of the Property and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Host and associated parties from any liability arising from their use of the Property or loss of personal property.
  • Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the local laws of the city in which the Property is located.
  • Payment: Payments are accepted through the booking channel or directly with the Host. Additional information may be requested for credit card payments.
